Meet sweet little Alaina.
When Alaina’s mom and dad took her to her 6 month appointment they had no idea that doctors would discover Alaina was born with several congenital heart defects. Alaina will be having open heart surgery on September 15th with a specialist in California. Alaina could also have to undergo major medical procedures for the next several years to keep her heart healthy as she grows up. Her mom and dad are facing a very long road. They will be far from home for at least 3 weeks while Alaina has surgery in California, which could lead to expenses upward of $10,000.00 or more. Because Alaina’s dad is not paid for time away from work, the family will not have an income while they travel for her surgery.
Eyes of a Child Photography is organizing an auction to benefit sweet Alaina and her family so that we can try to ease some of the financial strain. If you are interested in helping the Ridenour family you can help in a few ways.
